This page has been here since late 1995 or early 1996 (the photo of me though is very recent, July 2002) with some changes every now and again. I work at the University of Colorado in Boulder for Information Technology Services. I'm a part of PC Maintenance Services ; and manage the Site Support group I won't go into detail, you can see the links if you want to know what we do. But here's what Site Support looked like in 1998/99. I have a new crew this year but no new photos, can't seem to get us all together at one time and place. And before all this I was a certified dental assistant, imagine!

My favorite activities are walking and hiking. During the work week I usually get at least a 4 mile walk a day in. In the summer I usually hit the trails around Boulder if I'm not trekking around France.

I've been studying the french language, history, culture, and music for a couple years now. I don't speak the language nearly as well I read and understand it, but I never give up!

I love movies, I watch a lot of french movies. I had some favorites listed here before but since then I've watched more movies and now my mind changes all the time. My french film library has about 110 films now. I haven't watched all of them yet. A few places to visit if you like buying movies, dvd, etc. are The Internet Movie Database and Uncommon Video, a huge selection of foreign films. So far I've been pretty lucky being able to tape most of my movies off cable so I haven't spent a lot of money.

I also love books. Finding time to read them is another story, (did I just make a joke?) but I do collect them when I can afford it. I shop the usual places, Amazon.com, Barnes & Noble, Tattered Cover in Denver and the little shops around but I found a nice little on-line place called Bas Bleu. It's a nice site selling "quirky" books and things out of the ordinary. Caters mainly to women, but has titles for everyone. And who doesn't love music? My tastes are very broad depending on my mood... but I don't really care for jazz or country. I listen to a lot of french music and have quite an extensive french CD collection (along with all those books...)

I also study and dabble in herbalism and aromatherapy. Some nice sites to visit to learn more are: Guide to Aromatherapy and Henriette's Herbal Homepage this is a very comprehensive site with many links.

The sites below are photos of said places and my dogs.

Quotes and words of wisdom to ponder, or not. Most are things I've heard in passing or read somewhere so I won't add an author's name unless I know it. I'll change these as often as my mood does....or whenever....
