Above is a cropped, but otherwise unaltered version of an image taken by one of the Viking Orbiters (NASA Image: Viking 248B57). It obviously shows the work of an extra-terrestrial civilization with advanced intelligence, engineering skills, and sense of humor. This "Smiley Face on Mars" has been greatly ignored by both the mainstream media and the conspiracy theorists, thereby indicating a cover-up on a truly massive scale. The Smiley Face on Mars is on the edge of the Argyre Basin in the southern hemisphere of the red planet. Perhaps this face was constructed by ancient Martians in a vain attempt to placate their space-borne gods and convince them to cease causing the severe dust storms that are known to start in the Basin and often encircle the entire Martian globe. You be the judge!
