SPORT EDUCATORS
Adult Coaches Program



This 4 hour clinic prepares new and experienced coaches to provide children with the best experience possible in their recreational sports participation. The following objectives are addressed:
Build cooperative teamwork and relationships among athletes, coaches, parents, officials and administrators.
Emphasize the healthy and social participation of the athletes in the sport ahead of an emphasis on winning.
Increase knowledge and skills necessary to help children and youth continue in their participation in recreational amateur sports as a life long desire.
Build community relationships among youth, parents, coaches, officials and program directors.
Drug, alcohol, and violence prevention.
